Summary
Apple is seeking highly qualified people for the position of Al/ML Engineer and Al/ML Researcher. The team pursues research& development in the areas of machine learning (ML) with particular focus on deep learning (DL), computer vision (CV), Natural Language Processing (NLP), optimization, and reinforcement learning (RL).
As a member of the team, you will workon some of the most ambitious technical problems, develop new ML solutions that will impact future Apple products, andcollaborate with the best product teams to integrate your ideas into products. In addition, you will engage with the academiccommunity by publishing your innovative research, and speaking at conferences and events.
We're seeking a Research Intern with a focus on ML for simulation/3D. We welcome topics on 3D from reconstruction, generation to simulation. As a member of the team, you will work on the most high-reaching technical problems, deal withactual challenges on industrial level of data & resources, and collaborate with the best teams to publish your ideas as productor research.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS
1. In-depth knowledge in deep learning (DL) and statistical machine learning (ML)
2. Excellent programming skills in Python,C/C++,CUDA or other GPGPU is a plus
3. Familiar with Pytorch or JAX
4. Strong publication record demonstrating innovative research
5. Good presentation skills
6. Passionate about building extraordinary products
7. Expected to perform well in a fast-paced environment,to execute on the tasks assigned,to meet the productiondeadlines and,at the same time,to explore independently new innovative ideas that can improve and transform theproduct experience of Apple customers
8. Creative, collaborative,& product focused
1. Long-term internship commitment. Preferably 6+ months,>4>4 days/week.
2. Familiarity with physics-based simulation, and machine learning. Experiences with large-scale pre-training, self-supervised models,3D vision or graphics are preferred.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
1. Currently pursuing a Master/PhD degree in Machine Learning, Robotics, Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics or relatedareas.
